I Must Have Been a Good Girl This Year!

We have not heard officially of our embassy appointment and I am getting a wee bit nervous.  It is supposed to be a week from tomorrow!  I received these pictures last night and we flipped out!!  How cute are our boys,  Right....

A Number?

Yesterday we received a letter stating we have an ADD number. They also said that they are sending this number to the US Embassy in Addis Ababa. Thats got to be a good thing.

We Have Room at the Inn

The boy's room is coming together. I waited until we passed court before doing anything.  The beds are so comfy and I can't wait to look in there and see their beautiful faces asleep and at peace.

Not having them here for Christmas is good thing.  The chaos surrounding presents and family and friends would be way too much for them.  I can't imagine coming to America and thinking that everyday was Christmas!!!  I am still sad that they will not be here.  My teenagers don't show the excitement and anticipation for Christmas anymore.  I still do all the silly activities that we have always done but I hear alot more complaining now.  I will be ready
to show those angels all our family traditions next year.

Blessings to all of the families traveling for their embassy dates this week!  I will be sending good thoughts and can't wait to hear how it went!!

To Blog or Not to Blog

I still don't believe that we are on this end of the adoption process. We are waiting for our embassy date. Our director thinks that our date will be December 30. What a way to ring in the new year!! Myhusband and our 14 year old daughter are going to pick up the boys and appear at the US Embassy. Abby, our daughter, will be a tremendous help. I wish I would have brought her with me in November!!
Lots of love and prayers to our adoptive family friends that we have made on our journey!!
